Superlatives are
insufficient.
Suffice it to say the Fourth Annual Food & Wine Spectacular at The
Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia,
surpassed expectations with more than 450 guests, 125 selections from more than
30 of the country’s top wineries, and a bountiful selection of superb cuisine
prepared by 12 of the nation’s leading chefs. The event gave food and wine
connoisseurs an opportunity to learn from, and interact with, some of the
country’s most renowned chefs and elite wineries. The “who’s who” of
wine included Fred Dame of the Seagram’s Classic Wine Co. and America’s
first Master Sommelier. The weekend’s smooth blending of culinary expertise
and entertainment served as a tribute to The Homestead’s own “Chef
Albert,” who opened his kitchen to his colleagues. Reservations already are
