Memberabilia: Personal Best

Members experience personalized service when visiting ClubCorp Associate Clubs.

WE ARE FAMILY
Congratulations are in order to the excellent staff of the City Club Panama. As a member of this new club, I remain impressed with the high standards, quality, and dedication to service displayed by the city club family. I refer to them as family in that they make the members feel so welcome and at home during each visit. With its panoramic view of Panama City and elegant decor, the club provides fabulous cuisine and a wonderful setting to entertain guests or relax with friends.

Editor’s note: Thanks for writing. We’ll be featuring the City Club Panama in an upcoming issue. Not only will we look at Panama’s tremendous growth in tourism, industry, and commerce, but also the historic return of the Panama Canal to the Republic’s governance later this year.

ON THE LINE
Having made extensive use of Associate Club privileges during our 12 years of membership at La Cita Country Club, we have been impressed by the personal and competent services provided by the ClubLine staff, even to the extent of having my voice recognized when I call for reservations or tee times. During a recent trip to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we had the pleasure of visiting the ClubLine offices and meeting in person the faces behind the voices. It was no surprise for us to discover that the personnel were as gracious as we had imagined. We have visited 141 Associate Clubs thus far and look forward to many more contacts with all the dedicated ClubLine professionals.

MEETING BREAK
Recently, our organization held a meeting in Miami. Checking The Guide, I noted that the Bankers Club was listed. I made reservations for lunch the next Friday. What a pleasure. The Bankers Club is situated on the 14th floor overlooking Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, giving us a spectacular view. The captain and waiters were extremely helpful in pointing out landmarks. A nice touch was offering us binoculars so we could get close-ups of some unusual boats, historical buildings, and beautiful scenery.

SWEET HOME ALABAMA
I recently returned from a 10-day trip to Montgomery, Alabama, where I was born and spent my first 18 years. During my visit, I used the Capital City Club as my home away from home and I have to tell someone that this is the most beautiful of all the clubs I have had the pleasure to use as an anchor point while traveling.

Several of my family and friends live in Montgomery and I used the facilities to entertain them. My younger brother is moving back to Montgomery and will definitely become a member as soon as he moves into his new home.

A special thanks to Phyllis Fenn, membership director, for her effort making our visit an overwhelming success.

ROOM IN THE INN
On a very fast trip to New York, my  wife and I were unable to find a room on a Saturday night through the usual sources. So I called the ClubLine and they very efficiently got us a reservation at The Michelangelo. We knew nothing about the hotel and were somewhat apprehensive but from the minute we arrived, we knew we had a winner. Next trip, we know who to call.
