CHAIRMAN’S LETTER Over the past couple of months, you have received materials from your home club about the newly expanded Signature Gold program. So, this letter is a reminder I hope you don’t need: Nov. 30 is the final day to sign up for or upgrade to (without an initiation fee) Signature Gold. This is a way to "unlock a world of privilege." This is one tagline I believe. The staff of our membership department exceeded my expectations in creating a package of privileges unmatched in the private club industry. I believe they were successful because they listened to you, our members, and your feedback about the initial Signature Gold program launched two years ago. The message was clear that members wanted more than just golf benefits when they travel. Hence, the evolution of our improved Signature Gold privileges. The program consists of Signature Gold Golf, Signature Gold Dining, or Signature Gold Unlimited. Your club’s membership director will be more than happy to explain the details, but here’s a brief overview. Signature Gold Golf provides two complimentary rounds of golf per club per 30 days. Signature Gold courses include championship layouts by such great golf architects as Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, and Tom Weiskopf, among others. Signature Gold Dining provides two complimentary meals per club per 30 days at participating Business and Business and Sports Clubs. And Signature Gold Unlimited combines the two. World-class golf. Fabulous dining. The best of both worlds. A variety of additional privileges are foundational to the Signature Gold program. These include ticket access to Broadway shows and touring productions, access to exclusive clubs in New York City and other popular travel destinations, and 20 percent off select packages at our resorts — Barton Creek Resort & Spa, The Homestead, and Pinehurst. Members with Signature Gold also receive concierge services for dining, tee times, and hotel reservations; chauffeur services; and a special offer from the online gift service RedEnvelope. Of course, the program is designed to encourage you to visit Associate Clubs as often as possible and enjoy ClubCorp’s STAR Service. I hope you agree that’s a good thing, and I hope to see you at one of our great clubs soon. Robert H. Dedman Jr. Photography by Danny Hurley. |
