Dear Members and Guests,
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Our 50th anniversary “party” held Oct. 19 at all our clubs (except those with scheduling conflicts) was a huge success. Not only did we raise funds for great charities, but we had the unique opportunity to showcase our clubs and our great Employee Partners to thousands of people around the country. It truly was a fitting tribute to the Dedman family legacy and our own ClubCorp tradition of giving back to our communities. We greatly appreciate all our Member support.
Speaking of community gatherings, Happy Holidays! It is that time of year again. As we head into Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and the new year, I hope you enjoy the season and time spent with your families and friends.
For 2008, our theme at ClubCorp is “Good to Great.” We have been investing a lot of time (in addition to capital) looking for ways to improve our clubs and your experience. Continuing a theme from 2007, we will be emphasizing family friendly activities and events, including permanent forward tees on all our golf courses, continued free lessons, expanded fitness and wellness programs — along with even more programs designed to involve all the family at the club. As always, please let us know your ideas and suggestions as to how we may best serve you.
