Ray Scott, Renaissance Club member and former player and coach for the Detroit Pistons, celebrates his induction into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame. The Pistons selected Scott with the fourth pick in the 1961 NBA Draft. He then had an 11-year career in the NBA and ABA. In 1974, he won the Red Auerbach Trophy as the NBA’s coach of the year after leading the Pistons to their first 50-win season. … Spotted: During one week at Center Club in Costa Mesa, California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and former White House chef Walter Scheib both make appearances at the club.
