WHAT TO DO WITH THE KIDS IN THE GOOD OL’ SUMMERTIME

“Mom, I’m bored!”

Yes, we’re heading into that time of year when flowers bloom, temperatures sizzle, and you’re often struggling to find creative ways to entertain restless kids while their teachers take a breather and re-energize for three months or so.

Parents like yourself try muffling the adolescent moaning with backyard cookouts, picnics in local parks, and maybe even a family getaway to some exotic, sun-drenched island. Clubs also do their part. Check out some of the ways many bring big smiles to kids with lots of time to while away after school bells stop ringing.
