Member since: 2016 (formerly a member at Brookhaven Country Club, Farmers Branch, Texas, which he joined in 2009)

Who he is: As president and general manager of KTVT and KTXA in Dallas/Fort Worth - the country's No. 5 television market - he oversees operations of the CBS-owned-and-operated TV stations, as well as their subchannels.

High viewership:
"CBS has been No. 1 in prime time for many years, so having that platform leading in to our late news and other programs is a huge asset. We're also growing our business with our digital assets: our website, weather apps, and news apps."

Staying relevant: With so many ways for viewers to get their news these days, he says the key is providing a local perspective. "We're able to give our viewers information on how the events of the day - whether local, national, or international - affect us right here in North Texas."

Close to home: "It was a very sad situation that occurred in Dallas last July as five police officers lost their lives, but seeing our reporters out there, in harm's way themselves at various times, spoke to their commitment to covering news as it's happening and getting that information to our viewers.

"A good news story has to be relevant, useful, and timely for our viewers."
