Pyramid Club, Philadelphia

Members since: 2009

Who they are: Co-owners of Philadelphia Diamond Co., a private jewelry store founded in 1992. This year, they plan to expand their concierge service, bringing their showroom's treasures to a customer's home, business, or elsewhere.

Sparkly specialties: Though they sell everything from brooches to bracelets, engagement and wedding rings rule. Kenyatta, a licensed gemologist, custom-designs pieces upon request and assists customers himself. "I want to have that one-on-one interaction to find out who they are and what they want. There's not a day that goes by that they won't look at their hand and see their purchase from us. That's pretty special," Kenyatta says.

Close setting: "We often do a client's engagement ring, then a birthday or anniversary gift, then something after the birth of a child. We provide a relationship that larger stores can't," Nicole says.

Showstopper: "My most memorable stone was a 6-carat, $100,000 oval diamond," Kenyatta says. "We searched all over the country for it. It was like a little flashlight."
