When the PGA Tour established its Tour Players Club (TPC) network back in the '80s, its goal was to provide the ultimate venues for hosting Tour events, with services and amenities to match. Now ClubCorp upholds that tradition with the addition of TPC Michigan in Dearborn and TPC Piper Glen in Charlotte, N.C., to its family of clubs - and looks to the future with plans to upgrade both prestigious properties.

TPC Michigan's 6,586-yard, Jack Nicklaus Signature course takes its inspiration from Scotland's links courses, with rolling fairways, tiered greens, and natural wetlands. The Champions Tour's Ford Senior Players Championship made the course its home for 14 years, from 1993 to 2006. The club also offers casual dining, a bar and lounge, locker rooms, and private event spaces. The planned face-lift will focus on the clubhouse's interior and patio; improved cart paths, bunkers, and bridges; and a new golf cart fleet.

Set on undulating North Carolina terrain, TPC Piper Glen's 6,853-yard Arnold Palmer design takes advantage of natural rock outcroppings, oak trees, and lake inlets. The club, which hosted the Champions Tour's Home Depot Invitational for six years, also features tennis courts, a pool, fitness center, and a dining room. Expect golf course renovations and clubhouse and pool upgrades.

Members of the ClubCorp family of clubs get social and dining access at these clubs; and members with O.N.E. and Signature Gold Unlimited benefits also receive complimentary green fees.
